Intro Psyc Presentation Event

Enrolling in Introduction to Psychology is practically a rite of passage for college freshmen. If you are an alumnus of KU or a member of the Lawrence community who wants to relive that freshman year (without the “freshman 15” adding to your waistline) or who wants to experience what you might have missed because Intro Psyc never fit your schedule or college just wasn’t your “thing,” then come to INTRO PSYC on October 6, 2017 from 4-5pm in the Jayspace in the Kansas Union (1st floor).

Hear 5-minute talks describing exciting new discoveries made by faculty in the Department of Psychology, then share your memories over wine and cheese with familiar faculty members or new faces in the department. Presentations will be made by Dean Carl Lejuez (on Addiction), Prof. Omri Gillath (on The Power of (Secure) Love), Prof. Kelsie Forbush (on Eating Disorders), Prof. Christopher Cushing (on Smartphones and Obesity in Children), and Prof. Lila Chrysikou (on Brain Stimulation and Creativity).

RSVP to psychology@ku.edu by September 23, 2017.
